私の過去２年間のサウンドワークの目的は、「言語の感情的原型」に関わるものでした。この原型は、音を有する環境の中で、様々な感情に多様にかつ強く結びついたある一定の言葉の発音、特定のアクセント、記憶の喚起、の中に現れます。このサウンドワークのゴールは、言語のもつ音とその音を有する環境の中に貯えられた無意識的な感情の応答の探求とアーティスティックな操作の実践です。私は、私たちがほとんど知ることがない、内面に焼き付けられたパターンや潜在意識との接点を探るとともに、潜在意識を刺激し、その中に密かに持ち込まれ、ショックを与え、包み込み、変容させる音を作曲しています。ダンサー、アクター、運動選手のすばらしい肉体は、絶え間ないハーモニーを醸し出しています。このハーモニーは、音もなく潜在意識にのなかに入り込み、そこで待ち構え、そしてある日突然に猛烈に爆発する全てのものの総合なのです。日本におけるこの情熱と感情を見つけだすことが、このプロジェクトの目的です。

Hanna Preuss/ハンナ・プレウス略歴 ポーランド生まれ。ミュージシャン、サウンド・デザイナー、大学教授。演劇、ダンス、フィルム、写真、建築、ヴィジュアルアート等の広範なジャンルの音響デザインを手がける。またフリーランスの音楽家として、スロベニア映画においての新しい音響効果のクリエイションに対して年以上にわたって影響を与える。関わった映画はを超え、以上の国際的な賞を受賞し、そのスロベニア文化への特筆すべき貢献にたいして、ルブリヤナ市長賞を贈られる。月、ハンナは＜ハンナ音響芸術アトリエ＞を設立。私たちの潜在意識と日常生活の中の「音」の持つ重要性にスポットライトをあて、フィルムとパフォーマンス・アートにおける「音」の持つ力を探っている

Underwater in the Sound of Japan.

The purpose of my sound-work during the past two years has been to explore the emotional archetypes of  language.

These archetypes manifest through the pronunciation, evocation and particular stress marks of certain words, which are strongly connected with emotions, and through various relationships within the sonic environment.

The purpose of the work  as its result, is the exploration, actualization and artistic manipulation of the subconscious emotional responses stored within the sound of language and its environment.
I search for contact with the subliminal, with internally engraved patterns that are mostly unknown to us. I compose sound that stimulates the subconscious, invisibly smuggles itself into the person which it then shocks, overwhelms and transforms. I compose using the principles of music, and my instruments are everything and everyone.
Superb bodies - dancers, actors, walkers and gymnasts - also effuses an incessant harmony – the sum of everything that inaudibly sneaks into the subconscious, waits there, and then one day suddenly and impetuously bursts forth. I am there at that particular moment. I provoke, I record,  I compose, and I feed those same bodies with my sound compositions.
The image of the a place is information, but it’s sound is emotion and passion.

To find this emotion and passion in Japan is the intention and the sense of this project.
