„Sonoric Travel“ („Sonoricna Potovanja“)

is a long term spatial intervention / art installation / performance for galleries, museums and public spaces for one spectator at a time. Evolving during a one month work-in-progress-phase, it discovers new ways of combining sound-, acoustical-, structural- and light / video design in order to offer the spectator a deep sensual experience.

Having its premier starting at September 15, 2007 at the gallery of the Municipal Museum of Ljubljana, after one month of public work in progress „Sonoric Travel“ is planned to tour through different Slovenian galleries. Next it is invited to be presented in different countries, Italy and China among them. After that, it will stay as a permanent installation back at Municipal Museum of Ljubjana. „Sonoric Travel“ is a cooperation of European artist of various disciplines by initiative of infamous Polish-Slovenian sound designer Hanna Preuss. She signs responsible for the sound composition as a basic element of the installation and for the total concept direction.

Other members of the creative team are
• Felix Andriessens, a German Tonmeister („Sound Director“), who is responsible for acoustic and sound technical matters and realization
• Valerio Bergnach, an Italian audio engineer, responsible for technical sound support
• Guillaume Cailleau, a French photographer and video artist, consulting in matters of video design
• Gregor Nartnik, a Slovenian set designer and visual artist who is responsible for architecture, structural design and sculptural realization
• Jaka Simenc, a widely recognized Slovenian theater light artist, who is responsible for developing the light design

„Sonoric Travel“ is currently in the stage of collecting financial and practical support. Among others, declarations of intention to support the performance are already supplied by:

• Galerija Simulaka, Novo Mesto
• Gustav Film Production, Ljubljana

„Sonoric Travel“ offers to its sponsors access to a wide audience with a deep interest in sensual as well as intellectual stimulation. New technologies will have a key position in this form of presentation. Considering the importance of those elements, the project will be open especially for technical supportive sponsors to place their names in an appropriate way.
